Deichmann was founded in 1913 and is still 100% owned by the third generation of its founder’s descendants. Headquartered in Essen, Germany, Deichmann is the biggest shoe vendor and market lead in Europe, operating in 26 countries. The company has already entered Lithuanian and Latvian markets. Now, the very first Deichmann shop in Tallinn opened its doors on August 22 at the Nautica Centre and it will not be the last one.

BDO Estonia Audit & Advisory advised the client on setting up a company, opening a bank account and preparing all necessary documentation. In addition, BDO provides accounting and payroll services to the company and advises Deichmann on Estonian tax and legal matters.

BDO team members from Estonia who participated in the project were Karoliina Treter, Svetlana Majerovitš, Tiiu Mõttus, Anna-Anita Danilova and Liina Leiger.
