Maris joined the BDO team in Estonia first in 2005 while still studying at the Tallinn School of Economics. After working and gaining experience abroad, she was welcomed back to our team again in 2014 as the Accounting and Reporting Services Manager, since 2018 is Maris partner in BDO Estonia. In addition to managing communication with both old and new potential clients, Maris acts as the CFO of the group. She also actively participates as a lecturer in different training and seminars.
Working for the accounting firms for more than 10 years has given Maris a vast knowledge with many different clients including IT-start-ups, fintech, blockchain-related, investment companies, and various other entities with international reach. Maris has acquired valuable knowledge and experience in preparing the Estonian Financial Reporting Standards, Spanish PGC and PGC PYMES, IFRS and Consolidated Annual Reports. In addition, Maris is fluent in Estonian, English and Spanish.
Maris has studied Legal Advice and HR in EUDE Business School in Spain. She has graduated from the Economic School of Tallinn with a degree in Accounting.
