Proper and accurate packaging reporting shows concern for the environment

The European Union’s environmental requirements are becoming increasingly stricter, which is having a direct impact on companies’ accounting and reporting. An example of this is the packaging reporting requirement.

A company that places on the Estonian market packaged goods with the weight of packaging exceeding five tonnes per year, and a recovery organization, is required to prepare a packaging report and have it checked by an auditor.

Engagements on packaging reports conducted in accordance with international standards

We have considerable experience in checking packaging reports: our professionals have been conducting relevant engagements since the implementation of the requirement in Estonia. We deliver the service in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements. This allows planning and performing the work as a limited assurance engagement as required by the Packaging Act.

Working with us, you can obtain assurance that your company’s packaging report meets regulatory requirements and recommendations on how to further improve your packaging reporting.

You can also attend our training courses and information days that review the latest developments and changes in this area.
