NEW LEADERSHIP TEAM OF BDO IN ESTONIA

BDO in Estonia introduces three new partners, including Barbara Asu, Tiiu Mõttus and Karin Luiga. They have acquired 54% of the company BDO Estonia Audit & Advisory OÜ (previously BDO Advisory OÜ) shares. The company  is focused on business advisory and special purpose engagements.

The objective of welcoming the named three partners to the leadership team was to bring their expert knowledge into the frontline and in accordance with the BDO global development goal to take our advisory services to the next level. The circle of owners includes also Sulev Luiga and Sven Siling.

Today, the Leadership Team of BDO in Estonia includes strong experts in their own particular field. They have exceptional amount of experience and they are motivated to take their professional profiles to the next level. Our new leadership team is well-practiced in challenging situations, nevertheless, they are heading into the future with positive attitude and optimistic mindset. 

Soon ending year of 2017 has been an extraordinary one. At BDO in Estonia it has really stood out for the amount of challenges we have faced. Yet, as a fast growing and developing business, we have offered opportunities for self-fulfillment and created an environment, where people are motivated to reach their ambitious goals.  The financial year that ended gave us a valuable lesson – people’s ambitions are not a priori the same. Keeping in mind the company’s interests, changes in the management were made and a new team with whom to take the business towards new heights, was introduced.

This outstanding year has provided us with an opportunity to reestablish a company that is more than 40 years old and move on with a fresh outlook. Looking at the preliminary unaudited financial results, we at BDO in Estonia can be really proud of the work done and say 'Thank You' to the team that has delivered those results. During the BDO’s financial year that ended on September 30, 2017,  the unaudited consolidated turnover in Estonia was 1.8 milion euros. Furthermore, ongoing growth was noticed in the Business Services and Outsourcing where the team and the main processes were changed remarkably. Positive turnover and exceptionally strong team spirit are just some of the indicators to illustrate the positive outcomes of the undertaken changes in the company.
