Jane joined BDO Estonia's accounting and payroll team in November 2013 as an accountant, but soon specialized on payroll services.
Today, Jane is one of the Directors in the BDO payroll business line. She is actively involved in the process of finding new customers and onboarding clients, and helps to develop payroll services at BDO Estonia. In addition, Jane is advising her team members and colleagues on a daily basis on a variety of substantive and specific topics related to payroll, she is advanced user of the payroll programs used, and is great go-to source in case colleagues have difficult/specific issues in hand. Jane is rendering payroll services to larger and medium-sized international and Estonian companies, whose main areas of activity are IT and textile services. The languages of her everyday communication are both Estonian and English.
Jane participates in both internal and external professional trainings at BDO, including trainings on employment law and management. Thanks to professional trainings, she has acquired extensive knowledge of the correct and efficient performance of various calculations. Jane has passed the 5th level professional examination of an accountant and has previously been a co-author of Äripäev Newsletter "Palk" (Salary). Jane enjoys helping clients thrive by identifying their needs in detail to provide a quality payroll service.
Jane holds a Master's degree in Public Economics from Tallinn University of Technology and has previous work experience as an accountant in the industrial and logistics sectors. Jane has long-term experience in payroll and personnel accounting programs Taavi Personal, Taavi Palk and Merit Palk and has also used Fujitsu Persona software. On the accounting side, she has experience with Standard Books, SimplBooks and Directo software.
