    The smartest digital solutions.

e-Estonia

Estonia has transformed itself into one of Europe’s business success stories of the last decade, mainly thanks to the sophisticated e-solutions available here. It’s a simple fact – where business is easy, business will grow.

Components of Digital Society

Digital Signature

Digital signature enables secure, legally-binding electronic document signing. More than 242 million digital signatures have been made in Estonia since the system became available.

e-Law

The e-Law system is the Estonian Ministry of Justice’s online database for draft legislation.

More properly called the Electronic Coordination System for Draft Legislation, it allows the public to access every piece of draft law that has been submitted since February 2003. The Estonian e-Law system holds every piece of draft law that has been submitted since February 2003.

e-Residency

e-Residency offers to every world citizen a government-issued digital identity and the opportunity to run a trusted company online, unleashing the world’s entrepreneurial potential.

The Republic of Estonia is the first country to offer e-Residency — a transnational digital identity available to anyone in the world interested in administering a location-independent business online. e-Residency additionally enables secure and convenient digital services that facilitate credibility and trust online. Nearly 6000 e-residency cards have been issued to individuals in 119 different countries.

You can find the latest statistics about e-Residency on e-Estonia dashboard.

e-Tax

e-Tax has drastically reduced the time spent by individuals and entrepreneurs on filing taxes. In 2015, one-click tax filing became available to Estonian citizens.

Electronic ID Card

e-ID acts as definite proof of ID in secure electronic environments. There are more than 1.2 million active e-ID cards in Estonia. That’s nearly 94% of Estonia's 1.3 million residents.

Electronic Land Register

A one-of-kind information system for storing real estate and land data. The average number of applications received each month is 8200, and 70-80 percent arrive electronically from notaries.

State e-Services Portal

The State Portal, eesti.ee, is a website that acts as a one-stop-shop for the hundreds of e-services offered by various government institutions.

Rather than having to hunt for a particular service on the Internet, a user can simply head to this gateway site and find the appropriate link.

Mobile-ID

Mobiil-ID is your digital identity card and it is always with you on your mobile phone.

Mobiil-ID enables you to enter web portals, use e-services, make payments and transactions, provide digital signatures and take part in electronic voting. In addition, you can also gain access to various applications – for example, you can make bank transactions from your smart device conveniently wherever you are. Mobiil-ID helps you to run both private and business errands. In 2007, Mobile-ID won the title “Best New Product” in a survey conducted by Innovation Center InnoEurope.
